Thermography has been used in European hospitals for more than 30 years. It was cleared by the FDA in 1997 and has been used by progressive health professionals ever since.
It is a radiation-free that reveals disturbances in the body on a cellular level. There temperature pattern reveal areas of dysregulation in the body- signs of potential disease or dysfunction.
Thermography has the ability to detect inflammation and imbalances before symptoms occur.
It can also confirm sources of pain that your doctor can't otherwise see, as well as document changes in health as you undergo various therapies, showing you what's working (and what's not).
We use a kind of thermography known as thermometry. This technique uses a light-weight, infrared sensor to measure the temperature of your skin at more than 100 points.
This is followed by a 10 minute period in which you're exposed to a cold stimulus. We then take readings of those 100 plus points again. This allows us to see how well your organs and and tissues are functioning and how they deal with physiological stress.
Thermography can be an important part in early detection of breast cancer and other disorders by monitoring abnormal physiology and establishment of risk factors for the development of disease or dysfunction.
